Speaker for the 2009 Christmas Banquet will be the immediate past director of CBMC USA, Patrick O’Neal, according to Dave Todd, chairman of CBMC of Southeastern Michigan.
 

“It will be exciting to host our annual Christmas Banquet featuring the powerful message of Patrick O’Neal,” said Todd.
 

The banquet is set for 7 p.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009, at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, 788 Lake Shore Drive Grosse Pointe, MI 48236.
 

It is billed as an event for couples and their guests. The dinner will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. punch reception.

Todd encourages friends of CBMC to make their reservations early.
 

O’Neal is currently President of Chatham Development Corporation and The Real Estate Company which are North Carolina corporations.
 

He began his real estate career in 1968 in Fredericksburg, Virginia, as a real estate salesman specializing in resort sales. His 41 years in the real estate industry have included all phases of marketing, sales and development.
 

O’Neal’s efforts have included commercial development, apartment complexes, residential construction and most recently, since 1991, the successful development, sales and marketing of 12 master-planned residential communities in the Triangle area of North Carolina.
 

Pat and his wife “Tina” have seven children, 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
 

For the past five years O’Neal has served as executive director of CBMC with national headquarters located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  From his own personal experience, he speaks often to men regarding why “Failure is the key to Success.”
